Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow -- well, that was the reference anyway. Too bad it doesn't look like either one at all.
 Oh well, I just wanted to draw a human.A quick pencil drawing (with my usual touch with computer on it), full of things that went all wrong, not going to list them all here...  But I have to say that I had a nice time drawing this anyway, there were no boring moments with this and I'm kind of glad it at least looks like a human being... less like it should have though. I don't draw people often enough. I guess I'll have to give this a new better try sometimes. Or maybe I should skip the pirate thing and just draw a portrait of the actor. We'll see if I find a good enough reference and inspiration.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
